MultilangTranslator 1.6 released MultilangTranslator ist eine lizenzfreie Komponente, die mehrsprachige Anwendungen erlaubt. Die effiziente Komponente basiert auf Ressourcentechnologie und unterstützt ab Delphi 2 alle bekannten Plattformen (Win32, CLX, VCL.net, freepascal/Lazarus). Das Demoprojekt "Brainess" (ein mehrsprachiges Wortspiel;)) zeigt die dynamische Unit mit externer Res-DLL und Sprachsteuerung. Mit Batch lässt sich der Produktionsprozess beschleunigen, indem Sprachänderungen direkt in der Res-Datei erfolgen und sich als DLL compilieren lassen.

December 24, 2006 A book about FreePascal has been published in Hungary. The 270 pages book teaches the Pascal language and FPC from the start and also covers the advanced features. August 20, 2009: The 2009 International Olympiad in Informatics has been won by the 14 years old H. Karatkevich using Free Pascal. For this contest only the gcc and FPC compilers were allowed; Lazarus book available at toolbox!.

Mit FreePascal, Lazarus, FreeCLX und Chrome sind auch Alternativen vorhanden. Auch OpenGL in Delphi zeigt die Effizienz der IDE und das homogene Bild der VCL die wichtiger ist als Grösse, weniger ist eben mehr. Mit Lazarus 0.9 und Firebird ist seit langem eine hochperformantes Entwicklungssystem auf diversen Plattformen lizenzfrei im Einsatz!
